Product Fruits review: pricing, features, pros and cons
Product Fruits is a no-code onboarding tool for web apps: branching flows, tours, hints, checklists, announcements and a knowledge base, with an AI assistant, Elvin, that answers users and drafts tours on every plan. It publishes its prices: Starter is $149 / mo billed monthly, or $111 a month billed annually, for up to 1,500 monthly active users. Reviewers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on G2 and praise its ease of use and support team most; their most common complaints are the learning curve, missing features and styling limits.

The decision in brief
Is Product Fruits right for you?
Best suited to
Small and mid-sized SaaS teams with a web app and up to 20,000 monthly active users who want tours, checklists, a knowledge base and an AI help assistant without developers, at a price they can see before talking to sales.
Look elsewhere if
Products with more than 20,000 monthly active users, which get a quote instead of a printed price, or teams that need guides in native Android apps, which the pages we read don't mention.
Where it works well
- Ease of use is the most-praised theme: 163 of the 252 G2 reviews we read
- The support team is praised in 140 of the reviews we read, the flow types (tours, hints, checklists) in 111
- Every plan's price is printed up to 20,000 MAUs, and flows keep running for users over the quota instead of being cut off
- Every plan includes the Elvin AI assistant, the AI creator agent, banners, a newsfeed, a help center and a public knowledge base
What to watch for
- The learning curve is the most common complaint (57 of the 252 reviews we read), such as telling flows, tours and checklists apart
- Missing features and styling limits come up in 52 reviews each; some reviewers needed custom CSS for fonts, spacing or borders
- Starter is tight: 15 tours, 50 hints, 2 checklists, 1 language, 3 seats and 5 segments, with surveys, NPS and a private knowledge base starting on Pro
- Analytics depth is criticised in 37 of the reviews we read, and Salesforce, SAML SSO and user roles start on Business
Product Fruits pricing: what does it cost?

Full pricing notes
Prices move with a monthly active user slider; the cards show the 1,500 MAU tier by default, billed yearly ('25% off billed annually'). The page's pricing script and plan cards give five tiers, monthly / yearly per month: Starter $149 / $111 (1,500 MAUs), $199 / $149 (3,000), $299 / $224 (5,000), $399 / $299 (10,000), $499 / $373 (20,000); Pro $249 / $187, $299 / $224, $449 / $337, $549 / $412, $649 / $487; Business $499 / $374, $699 / $524, $899 / $674, $1,299 / $974, $1,599 / $1,199. Above 20,000 MAUs every card reads 'Let's Talk' (a custom quote). Included Elvin text conversations grow with the tier (Starter 20 to 200 a month, Pro 100 to 1,200, Business 400 to 5,000); 100 more cost $49 a month, or $37 billed yearly, and 100 extra voice minutes (Business) $98 or $74. The FAQ: an active user is anyone who logs in during a month, counted once; products with many guest (pre-login) users get a custom quote; flows keep working for users over the quota and the team gets in touch about a better plan; flow views aren't limited or charged; cards are accepted, and invoicing is available over $1,000; no partial refunds. The home page claims Starter's $111 is 'the lowest published starting price in this category'. Checked against the live page on 2026-10-22: plan cards at 1,500 MAUs billed yearly and monthly, 20,000 MAUs billed monthly, and the quote-only view above 20,000 (screenshots in sources); the page's JSON-LD gives the same 1,500 MAU prices. Its billing help article adds: the Starter, Pro and Business tiers date from February 2026; customers on legacy plans (Core, Boost, and the older Starter, Pro and Enterprise) aren't moved automatically, and legacy Core and Boost no longer include AI features; every unique user Product Fruits is started with counts, whether or not they see any content; the MAU count resets when a trial turns into a paid plan; going over isn't charged automatically; plans can be downgraded, with no refund for the unused part; and invoices are possible above $500 (the pricing page says $1,000).
A dash means the page doesn’t print that figure. Read 22 Oct 2026 from productfruits.com/pricing, and re-checked against screenshots of the live page 22 Oct 2026.

Product Fruits FAQ
How much does Product Fruits cost?
At 1,500 monthly active users, Starter is $149 / mo billed monthly or $111 a month billed annually, Pro is $249 or $187, and Business is $499 or $374. Prices rise with your MAU tier, up to $499, $649 and $1,599 a month billed monthly at 20,000 MAUs; above 20,000 MAUs every plan is a quote. Prices checked 22 Oct 2026.
Does Product Fruits have a free plan?
Its pricing page lists no free plan. It offers a 14-day free trial with full access and no credit card, and you can try it on your app with its Chrome extension before a developer installs the script.
Why do other sites quote different Product Fruits prices?
Product Fruits replaced its plans in February 2026 with Starter, Pro and Business, according to its billing help article, so older articles quote plans and prices that no longer exist. Directories also often quote $111, which is Starter billed annually; billed monthly it's $149 / mo. Customers on legacy plans aren't moved automatically, but legacy Core and Boost plans no longer include the AI features.
What happens if I go over my MAU limit?
Product Fruits keeps working for every user, including those over your quota, and isn't charged automatically; its team gets in touch to discuss a plan that fits. An active user is anyone who logs in during the month, counted once, and the count resets when a trial turns into a paid plan.
What's the difference between Starter, Pro and Business?
Starter has linear flows and caps content (15 tours, 50 hints, 2 checklists), 1 language, 3 seats and 5 segments. Pro adds branching flows, surveys and NPS, a private knowledge base, custom events, automatic translations and the HubSpot, Mixpanel, Segment and Zapier integrations, with 10 seats. Business removes the content caps and adds AI-personalised flows, contextual and voice onboarding, Salesforce, SAML SSO and user roles, with 40 seats.
What is Elvin AI, and which plans include it?
Elvin is Product Fruits' AI. For users, it answers questions in the app from your docs and websites and can launch a tour when someone asks how to do something (from Pro). For your team, it drafts tours and flows from a description or while you use the product, and writes reports on what users ask. Every plan includes it, with 20, 100 or 400 text conversations a month at 1,500 MAUs; 100 more cost $49 a month, or $37 billed yearly.
Does Product Fruits work in mobile apps?
It works in any web app on any device, and its pricing FAQ says it also supports native iOS apps; the pages we read don't mention Android. Eight of the 252 G2 reviews we read name mobile support as a gap, most of them written before 2026.
Is Product Fruits easy to use?
Ease of use is the theme reviewers praise most, in 163 of the 252 G2 reviews we read, with quick setup in 85 and building flows without developers in 79. It's also the most common complaint: 57 mention a learning curve, often about which option does what.
What do Product Fruits users dislike?
In the reviews we read, the learning curve comes up most (57), then missing features (52), styling limits (52) and analytics depth (37); 55 of the 252 name no dislike. Price is a complaint in 14. Most of the reviews are recent: 147 were written in 2025 or 2026.
Is Product Fruits cheaper than UserGuiding or Userflow?
At their entry plans, yes, though each counts a different number of users. Product Fruits Starter is $149 / mo billed monthly for 1,500 MAUs; UserGuiding Starter is $249 / mo billed yearly for 2,000 MAUs, and Userflow Essentials is $300 / mo billed monthly for 1,000 MAUs. Compare the plan you'd need at your own MAU count, since the limits on each plan differ.
Do I need a developer to install Product Fruits?
Not to try it: its Chrome extension lets you test Product Fruits on your app right away. For live use, a developer or someone with tag manager access adds its JavaScript snippet once, passing a unique ID for each user, which Product Fruits uses to count monthly active users.
