Integromat’s user onboarding slideshow does it all in one place
Integromat welcomes new users with a four-step modal slideshow that shows how to build a first automated scenario, from trigger to activation.
Integromat (the automation tool since renamed Make) greets new users with a modal slideshow. At the time of the recording, "Welcome to Integromat" explains that the tool connects apps and automates workflows with a no-code visual editor, and promises to show you how to create your first workflow (a "scenario") in four steps. The slides that follow are Add a trigger, Add action module(s), Test your scenario and Schedule and activate your scenario. Each one uses an animated example, an email trigger feeding a Google Sheets action, and has Back and Continue buttons with a step count ("Continue (1/4)"). The last button reads "Start automating!".
Why it works
- Value within minutes of signup: the slideshow goes straight to scenarios, the core of the tool, so new users understand what Integromat is for before they've clicked anything else.
- Everything in one place: the whole explanation happens in one modal over the dashboard, without sending you between pages, and the step count on each button shows how much is left.
