Flourish’s onboarding can be triggered directly from the onboarding checklist
Flourish follows a four-step welcome modal with an onboarding checklist whose items launch interactive guides, each with its own progress bar.
At the time of the recording, Flourish welcomed new users with a four-step modal (Welcome To Flourish, Feedback but Simplified, Pick Your Focus Areas, Adding value not Administration), each slide with an illustration and Previous and Next buttons. After it comes an onboarding checklist headed "Getting Started": Sign Up To Flourish, Add Team Members, Schedule a Survey and Reply In Chatbox. Clicking an item starts an interactive guide for that task, such as adding team members, with the rest of the screen dimmed.
Why it works
✅ Progress on every element: the welcome modal, the checklist and the guides all show a progress bar, so users can see how much is left and are less likely to give up early.
✅ Focus: Flourish highlights the element each tooltip is about and dims the rest of the screen, so there's only one place to look.
✅ Guides launched from the checklist: because every checklist item opens its own guide, users can move forward one task at a time and pick up where they left off.
