Amplitude has recently rolled out an educational page called Amplitude Academy, where users are onboarded with a user onboarding checklist. What makes the checklist so well designed is that is features an overall progress bar as well as mini progress indicators.

Why it’s great:

✅ Cool design - The design of the checklist is very cool in and of itself, thanks to the collapsable items on the checklist and Amplitude’s own hue of blue as the primary color.

✅ Progress bars - Amplitude’s checklist features an overall progress bar which is a line with a percentage on top of it while the separate items on the list also have progress indicators of themselves.

✅ Progress in copy - Progress in the checklist is not only expressed through design elements but also through copy, with each item’s title featuring a time period in parentheses.
